Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and flanks in a 42-year-old woman. At the same time as a breast reduction and liposuction of the axillary rolls, she wanted to improve the contour of her mid-section.
Liposuction permanently removed over three liters of fat from her upper and lower abdomen, pubic region, and anterior flanks/love handles. Early follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. She still has some firm swelling called edema that will soften and smooth out naturally over the next six months.
