Before and after liposuction of the lower abdomen, buttock rolls (also called the “banana rolls”), inner and outer thighs in a 46-year-old woman.  She was slender and physically active, but as she entered perimenopause, noticed she was starting to accumulate more fat in some “trouble areas.”  She also had significant asymmetry of her thighs, with her right side storing more fat than her left.

Liposuction permanently removed over two liters of fat through several tiny (2-3 millimeter) incisions, strategically hidden in skin creases whenever possible.  After surgery, she wore compression under her clothes for two months and resumed exercise at 4 weeks, when all bruising had resorbed.

Long-term follow up photos are shown a year and a half after surgery, with mature scars, resolution of all surgical swelling, and her final liposuction outcome.
