Before and after liposuction of the arms in a 35-year-old woman. At the same time as having liposuction of her thighs, abdomen and flanks, she wanted to improve the contour of her upper arms.
Liposuction permanently removed nearly 500 cc of fat (two cups!) from each arm through tiny incisions hidden in skin creases. After surgery, she wore several different compression garments until the bruises were all gone (at four weeks).
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. Her skin had contracted and molded to its new form, and she feels very comfortable wearing sleeveless tops now!
