Before and after liposuction of the arms in a 51-year-old woman. At the same time as a breast revision and liposuction elsewhere on her body, she wanted to improve the contour of her arms. She had a slender physique and exercised as much as she could, but her upper arms had a layer of fat that she could not eliminate on her own.
Liposuction removed a small relative volume of fat from her upper arms, which made a big difference in her arm contour! After surgery, she wore compression sleeves under her clothes at work for a full six weeks.
Follow up photos are shown 4 months after surgery, with skin that is continuing to contract and a more muscular look to her arms overall. The liposuction revealed her muscle tone underneath – which was previously hidden by this small layer of fat.
