Before and after bilateral breast augmentation with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 37-year-old woman. While she had always been relatively small-breasted, pregnancy and nursing her three babies had robbed her of any volume her breasts had.
She wanted to have the fullness of her breasts right after she finished breastfeeding – but before she became engorged again. She also didn’t want anyone at work noticing that she had had a “boob job.”
Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle, in the subglandular plane, using an incision hidden in her breast fold. Liposuction removed excess fat from her armpits and bra rolls.
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. She feels natural, proportional to her body, and she usually forgets altogether that she even has breast implants, since they feel like part of her.
