Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 29-year-old woman. She had been experiencing upper back pain, neck pain and shoulder pain since she entered puberty and grew these oversized breasts since she was eleven. She had been told to “wait until after having kids” from others, but since that was not in her near future, she felt ready for surgery now!
A breast reduction removed over two pounds of excess breast tissue from each breast. The auto-augmentation technique of mastopexy was used to rearrange and lift her breasts, and liposuction removed unwanted fat from her armpits and bra rolls.
Follow up photos are shown 1 year after surgery, with nearly fully mature scars and a proportional, natural looking result. She looks forward to the rest of her life with manageable sized breasts, and the likely ability to breastfeed!
