Before and after left inverted nipple correction in a 32-year-old woman. She disliked the caved-in appearance of her left nipple. While it wasn’t as severe as other patients’ nipple inversions, it bothered her, and she was willing to invest in this procedure to achieve better symmetry with her other nipple.
Inverted nipple correction was performed in the office operating room under local anesthesia. She needed a ride to and from our office since we always prescribe an oral anti-anxiety medication and offer patients inhaled laughing gas for awake surgery procedures.
Follow up photos are shown 6 weeks after surgery. Her recovery was minimal, requiring only Tylenol for pain for a day or two. She now has better symmetry of her nipples and feels very comfortable going without a bra.
