Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 22-year-old woman with significant congenital breast asymmetry. She had been considering having a reduction since her mid-teens, and was finally ready for surgery at this stage of her life.
A breast reduction removed over a kilogram of tissue from her right larger breast, and over 600 grams from the left smaller breast. Liposuction removed over a full cup of fat from her armpits and bra rolls. After surgery, she took a full month off work and gradually resumed exercise and her normal life.
Long-term follow up photos are shown nearly 4 years after surgery. Her scars are mature, she feels extremely comfortable in her skin, and even with a little weight gain, her breasts remain proportional to her body’s curves.
