Before and after post-weight loss abdominoplasty and circumferential liposuction in a 62-year-old man. He had committed to a healthier lifestyle and lost a significant amount of weight. He disliked the excess loose skin in his lower abdominal region and wanted to improve his midsection contour.
A male tummy tuck removed unwanted loose lower abdominal skin but kept a normal male contour – it did not “feminize” his body. Over a kilogram (two and a half pounds) of extra skin and fat was surgically removed from his abdomen. Liposuction removed nearly three liters of excess fat from his upper and lower abdomen, pubic region and love handles, known as the flanks.
Follow up photos are shown 1 year after surgery, with maturing scars and an improved body contour. He feels comfortable wearing fitted shirts and does not feel “post-surgical” in the least.
