Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 24-year-old woman. Her breasts were large, heavy and pendulous, and caused pain in her neck, shoulders and upper back. She wanted to remain proportional to the rest of her body, and to have additional body contouring during her breast procedure.
A breast reduction removed nearly a kilogram (over two pounds) of tissue from each side. Her breasts were reshaped and lifted using the auto-augmentation technique. Liposuction removed unwanted fat from her armpits and bra rolls, together with her abdomen, flanks, pubic region and upper arms.
Follow up photos are shown 1 year after surgery. Given her beautiful skin tone, it is normal that her scars are still dark. They will continue to fade over the next several years.
