Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 58-year-old woman. She was planning her retirement and wanted to take up tennis and golf, which she found difficult to do due to the large size of her breasts.
A breast reduction removed nearly two pounds of breast tissue from each breast. Her breasts were lifted and reshaped using the auto-augmentation technique, and liposuction debulked fat from her armpits and bra rolls.
Follow up photos are shown 11 months after surgery. Her scars had faded, her breasts have settled, and she feels very comfortable in her body. She especially loves that her armpit fat no longer hangs out from the sides of her tank tops after the liposuction. Her golf and tennis swings have already improved – she is thrilled with these side benefits to breast reduction surgery!
