Before and after labiaplasty in a 59 year old woman. She had taken up rock climbing and found at the end of a day of climbing, she had swelling, chafing and pain in her labia region. She learned about labiaplasty as an outpatient Plastic Surgery procedure and was thrilled that she was a candidate.

Excess labia minora tissue was excised under local anesthesia with patient self-administered laughing gas and an oral anti-anxiety medication. Postoperatively, she took a month off climbing. Follow up photos are shown at 3 months after surgery. She is happy with how it feels, how it looks (normal), and she no longer has any discomfort – with any activities.
