Before and after left nipple and areola reconstruction in a 35 year old breast cancer survivor. Her past surgeon had left behind some areola tissue that lay too low on the breast and was not helping in her reconstruction.

At the time of tissue expander removal and implant exchange, the excess areola pigment was excised to allow for a breast lift. Her nipple was reconstructed by the local flap technique, and medical tattoo reconstructed the areola. These procedures were performed together.

Follow up photos are shown 10 months after surgery.
