Before and after bilateral nipple and areola tattoo in a 54 year old woman. Her previous surgery had created light colored scars around her areolas that she felt self-conscious about. Her areola color was naturally light and now she felt like she didn’t have areolas at all.
Medical tattoo of the nipple and areola helped to brighten them and create a visual distraction from the surrounding scars. Follow up photos are shown six months after medical tattoo.
NOTE – our office no longer offers medical tattoo as our machine broke and the company no longer manufacturers this machine. However, we have several local female tattoo artists we refer to, who do a fantastic job for breast reconstruction patients and cosmetic patients alike.
