Before and after breast reconstruction after a left lumpectomy and radiation therapy in a 70 year old woman. She was several years out from breast cancer treatment and only recently learned about her reconstruction options! She was thrilled about the idea of a breast reduction and lift.
Her reconstruction involved a bilateral breast reduction and liposuction of the sides of her breasts and armpit fat (axillary rolls). You can see how much her nipples were lifted by comparing the nipple and areola position with respect to her left breast radiated scar.
Follow up photos are shown 18 months after surgery. She is thrilled to NOT need to wear a bra! and she loves her "cute little reconstructed breasts".
