Before and after bilateral breast reduction and liposuction of the axillary rlls in a 41-year-old woman. She had lost 75 pounds over the last two years and maintained a stable weight but noticed that her breasts had lost their shape with her lower body mass index (BMI).

Her breasts had developed the typical features following significant weight loss, with medialized nipples (situated closer to the midline than the meridian of the breast), loss of shape, breast sagging, and a low position of the nipples and areolas on the breast. She had a wide base to her breast, resulting in the breast wrapping around to her back.

She was also planning liposuction of her abdomen and flanks at the same time. A combined breast reduction and liposuction of all these areas was planned under general anesthesia as an outpatient procedure. Liposuction of the bra rolls and armpits allowed the scar under the breast to be shortened and allowed debulking of the lateral aspect of her breasts.

After surgery, she took a month off work and six weeks off exercise. Follow up photos are shown 4 months after surgery. She is applying scar gel and massaging her incisions, is back exercising and enjoying er new body!
