Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and flanks in a 41-year-old mother of three. As part of her Mommy Makeover, she wanted to improve the contour of her belly region. Although she had endured three pregnancies, she had minimal separation of her abdominal muscles – known as rectus diastasis. What bothered her most was the extra fat in her stomach area.

At the same time as a breast reduction and lift, liposuction was done to remove excess unwanted fat in the abdomen and flanks region. Postoperatively, she wore a compressive binder that helped to limit swelling and bruising and encouraged her skin to mold to its new form.

Early follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery. She still has palpable swelling called edema in the abdomen, but we can all appreciate her new figure!
