Revision Breast Surgery Gallery

Before and after breast revision in a 58 year old woman.  She previously had bilateral implants for breast reconstruction and a lift.  She had developed painful and deforming capsular contracture on each side with asymmetry of her nipples and areolas and hypertrophic scars.

Bilateral capsulectomy, implant exchange and scar revisions achieved greater symmetry and alleviated her pain and deformity in a straightforward outpatient procedure. 

She took a week off work and continued unrestricted activities at three weeks postoperatively.  Follow up images are shown two months after surgery.
