Before and after liposuction of the neck in a 34 year old woman. Despite her level of physical fitness or losing weight, she could not lose the fullness of fat under her chin. She felt her neck did not match her healthy lifestyle!
Liposuction was performed in the hoffice under local anesthesia. A half cup of fat was removed by one small incision under her chin. Postoperatively, she took a couple of days off work and wore a compressive chin strap for two weeks while at home.
Follow up photos are shown six months after surgery. Note her “obtuse angle” of her jawline is now more angular. Results are especially visible from the side and oblique (diagonal) views. She looks like herself, just with a less fatty neck!
