Breast Reduction Gallery

Before and after breast reduction and lift in an 18 year old woman. She naturally had pendulous, droopy breasts for being such a young woman and heaviness of her dense breast tissue. She wanted to remain proportional to the rest of her body and preserve sensation and the ability to breast feed in the far-off future.

Follow up images are shown at 5 months after surgery. Her scars are still visible and pink, which is normal for so early after surgery, particularly in a teenager. Younger people make more collagen in their scars, and it consequently can take longer for teenagers’ scars to mature – when compared to the elderly.

She is now able to run without pain and has started college life with a perkier, more youthful outlook on life – literally!
