Before and after bilateral mastopexy in a 28-year-old woman. She naturally had tubular breasts that became droopy and deflated after weight loss. She wanted a more round and perky shape to her breasts and had the goal of not wearing a bra – but did not want her breasts to be bigger. Therefore, an implant was not indicated – just a breast lift. She was relieved to learn that breastfeeding should still be possible after surgery.

The “auto-augmentation” technique of breast tissue rearrangement and moving the breast into a pocket created higher up on the chest wall was used. Liposuction removed unwanted armpit fat from the axillary rolls.

Follow up photos are shown one year after surgery. She is now engaged to be married and loves that she doesn’t need a bra under her strapless wedding dress!
