Umbilicoplasty Gallery

Before and after umbilicoplasty in a 39 year old mother of twins. Her abdominal muscles had separated significantly during her twin pregnancy. Her belly button had also popped out and was now a permanent “outie”. This is due to rectus diastasis and is addressed during an abdominoplasty.

A tummy tuck repaired her abdominal muscles back together in the midline, effectively also correcting her belly button. Early follow up photos are shown just 5 weeks after surgery. The scar around her navel will fade over the next 6-9 months to become barely imperceptible.
