Before and after brachioplasty in a 41-year-old woman following significant weight loss. She had already had other body contouring procedures including a breast lift and abdominoplasty. Improving the contour of her upper arms was the next procedure planned in her weight loss journey.

Excess skin and fat were removed from her upper arms to improve their contour. After surgery, she wore compression garments under her clothes for three months.

Follow up photos are shown 8 months after surgery. Brachioplasty scars are no joke – they are visible in some views but are fading. The last image shows that the scars lie on the inside of her arms and are not visible when the arms are at the sides of the body when viewed from behind.
