Before and after abdominoplasty and liposuction in a 51-year-old woman. After having children, she lost all the tone in her abdomen and stored extra fat in her midsection.

An abdominoplasty removed excess skin and fat from her lower abdomen, repaired her abdominal muscles back together in the midline, and pulled her abdominal wall tightly downward. Liposuction removed excess fat from her upper and lower abdomen, flanks, pubic region and upper inner thighs.
