The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, a leading authority on cosmetic and reconstructive Plastic Surgery, recently featured Dr. Karen Horton on their vlog for A Day in the Office with Karen Horton, MD. If you have ever wondered what a workday looks like for Dr. Horton, now you can see for yourself!
In this video, Dr. Horton explains how she makes prospective first-time patients comfortable at their consult appointment, then we get to follow her during a breast lift consultation, a liposuction consultation, and follow-up appointments with a breast reconstruction patient and a breast reduction patient. Before she leaves the office, Dr. Horton sits in the patient’s chair herself for a quick non-surgical procedure performed by Nurse Practitioner Emily Sespaniak. Watch the full video and don’t miss a peek at the adorable Horton twins at the end!
