About Us

The practice of Dr. Karen Horton is located in the prestigious Pacific Heights district of the San Francisco Bay Area. Our Plastic Surgery practice offers a broad spectrum of cosmetic surgery of the breasts, the body and the face, and non-surgical aesthetic procedures for the skin, face, neck and chest.

Dr. Horton is a classically educated Plastic Surgeon who received her training at an esteemed Integrated five-year Plastic Surgery Residency program and pursued additional Fellowship training in Reconstructive Microsurgery.

Specializing in all types of breast surgery, Dr. Horton devotes herself to creating the most beautiful, natural results possible, whether for cosmetic or reconstructive purposes. While Dr. Horton is no longer a participating provider for insurance, she continues to serve the breast cancer community by offering complex breast revision procedures after breast reconstruction and cosmetic breast revisions.

Board-Certified Nurse Practitioners Emily Sespaniak, NP and Danielle Bautista, MSN, ANP specialize in non-surgical cosmetic procedures including Botox and other neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and laser skin rejuvenation treatments. Emily and Danielle are known for generating NATURAL results in all our patients. We reassure our patients that “the best injectables are undetectable!” They also work closely with each of Dr. Horton’s surgical patients to optimize their surgical scars after Plastic Surgery.
