Intense Pulsed Light, or IPL, is a non-invasive treatment that uses broad-spectrum light energy to improve sun damage, redness, acne, and uneven skin tone, with no downtime. It’s one of our most requested non-surgical treatments, and we’ve just upgraded the equipment behind it.

If you’ve dealt with brown spots from sun exposure, ongoing redness or rosacea, breakouts, or skin that just looks uneven, IPL is likely one of the treatments we’d recommend. The light targets pigment and blood vessels beneath the surface, so your body can clear them naturally over the following days.

Our practice now uses the Stellar M22 system by Lumenis, an FDA-cleared platform that replaces our previous IPL device.

What’s Different for You

The new system lets Emily Sespaniak, NP and Danielle Bautista, MSN, ANP treat more concerns in a single visit, often in one session where they used to need two. If you’ve been dealing with both redness and sun spots, for example, you may not need two separate treatment plans anymore. Emily and Danielle can often address both in the same appointment.

It also covers larger areas, like your chest or hands, more comfortably and in less time than before.

Early results are encouraging. Many patients see significant clearing of redness and pigmentation after just one session, though a series of treatments still works best for most concerns.

If You’ve Had IPL With Us Before

If you’re already one of our IPL patients, you don’t need to start over. The same treatment plan we discussed together still applies, and your results will continue building on the sessions you’ve already had. This upgrade improves comfort and precision. It doesn’t change your plan.
