Before and after lower facelift/neck lift/MACS lift in a 64 year old woman. She wasn’t looking to be pulled too tight; she just wanted to improve the appearance of her neck and jawline.

A minimal access cranial suspension (MACS) short scar lift was performed under general anesthesia, combined with a breast revision surgery. Liposuction removed fat from beneath the chin, and the deep tissues of her cheek were resuspended upward to a more youthful position. She took a month off social activities and was pleasantly surprised by the lack of discomfort after her procedure.

Follow up photos are shown six months after surgery. Her neck contour is significantly improved, as are her jowls and the skin to the side of her mouth, known as the “marionette area”. Her incisions are nearly imperceptible in front of her ears. She looks natural and refreshed, but still like herself.
