Before and after MACS lower face and neck lift in a 56 year old woman. She had years of sun damage on her neck skin and early jowling of her jawline. She wanted to counteract these early signs of aging by addressing her neck.

A MACS lift corrected these jowls and lifted her lower face and neck upwards in a natural fashion. Her scars are hidden in front of her ear. The MACS lift incision ends at the earlobe and does not require extension into the scalp behind the ear. It is by resuspending the SMAS upwards that this short scar technique achieves such a permanent and anatomic lift.

Follow up photos are shown at two months after surgery. She still has some of the crepe-like nature of her sun damaged skin, but she appreciates the improved contour of her jawline. She has the option of IPL and other resurfacing techniques to improve her neck skin quality.
