Before and after MACS neck lift in a 70 year old woman. She had mild jowls and signs of facial aging that she wanted to improve, and her facelift from 20 years ago did not address her neck. She was delighted to learn about the MACS lift technique to lift the neck, with its minimal scar and low risk to the facial nerve.

A minimal access cranial suspension (MACS) lift resuspended her SMAS (deep tissues of the cheek and jowls) and provided better definition to her jawline. Liposuction removed a small amount of fat from under her chin.

Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery, with a close-up of the scar in front of the ear at 3 months. The incision is pink, as expected for this early stage of scar maturation – it will fade over time on its own. She is applying scar gel twice daily and loves her initial results!
