Before and after bilateral breast lift in a 24 year old woman. She had undergone major weight fluctuations and her breasts had taken a toll – they were deflated and droopy, as if she had breast fed (but she had not). She wanted her breasts to have a more perky shape, as if she were wearing a bra.

A mastopexy reshaped her breasts by rearranging her breast tissue internally and only removed skin. Her areola diameter was reduced and her nipples lifted to a higher position on the breast.

Early follow up photos are shown 6 weeks after surgery. Once her scabs are gone, she will start scar therapy. Scar therapy involves applying a topical scar gel and performing scar massage twice daily for 6-9 months.
