Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and flanks in a 40-year-old woman.  She was healthy, physically fit and very active but still had some persistent, stubborn fat in her midsection.  At the same time as a breast procedure, she wanted to remove some excess fat from her tummy region and love handles.

Liposuction removed over three liters of fat from these areas.  After surgery, she wore compression under her clothes for six weeks to encourage skin contraction.  She was motivated to stay fit and committed to her healthy lifestyle as she entered her fifties.

Long-term follow up photos are shown 15 years after surgery.  Even with menopause-related weight gain and other body changes related to aging, her results are enduring, and she looks great!
