Before and after bilateral mastopexy and liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 42-year-old woman who not only was a mother and breastfed her children but had also lost 130 pounds after gastric bypass surgery. Her goal was to not need to wear a bra 24/7 but she did not want breast implants. A breast lift was a perfect match for her goals.

The “auto-augmentation” technique was used to reshape her breasts and to relocate her breast tissue higher up on her chest in a pocket where an implant would usually be placed. Liposuction removed excess fat from her bra rolls and her armpits – known as the axillary rolls.

Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery. She is starting scar therapy and loves not needing to wear a bra day and night!
