Before and after breast lift in a 55 year old woman. She had previously had a breast reduction in her late teens. Since that time, she had several children, weight loss and menopause. Her formerly lifted breasts now drooped and sagged with loose, crepe-like skin. She considered having a breast augmentation but her goals were to simply be lifted and reshaped, not larger breasted.
Together with a tummy tuck and liposuction of her abdomen and flanks, a mastopexy reshaped her existing breast tissue and gave her improved symmetry. She had much more breast tissue than she realized – it was just sitting very low! Liposuction removed excess fat from her bra rolls and armpit region.
Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery. She has smaller areolas and a perkier breast form. She loves her breast shape and appreciates not needing to wear a bra now.
