Before and after mastopexy (breast lift) in a 61 year old woman. She previously had undergone breast implant removal several years ago and appreciated her implants being out but she felt deflated and wanted her breasts to look more youthful.
A breast lift rearranged her breast tissue to a more perky and shapely form. Her nipples and areolas now pointed forward, rather than to the ground. Liposuction removed stubborn fat from the sides of her breasts and her armpits, and greatly debulked her annoying under-breast fat roll.
Follow up photos are shown two months after surgery. Her incisions are starting to fade and she has resumed all her physical activities without difficulty. She still has firm swelling in the liposuction areas that will gradually reabsorb over another several months. She no longer needs to wear a bra – she is so happy with her early results!
