Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 26-year-old woman with breast asymmetry and macromastia. She was starting to experience chronic pain in her neck, shoulders and upper back. Seeing a massage therapist and Chiropractor was no longer helping. Her Doctor recommended a breast reduction, which she was a good candidate for.
Nearly a pound and half of heavy, dense breast tissue was removed from each breast. Her remaining breast tissue was lifted and reshaped using the auto-augmentation mastopexy technique. Liposuction removed fat from her armpits and bra rolls, accentuating her aesthetic results.
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. Her scars are starting to fade and she is applying scar gel to her incisions twice daily. She is training for her first half marathon and loves being able to run without pain – and only one light sports bra!
