Before and after bilateral tubular breast correction using the auto-augmentation mastopexy technique with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 25-year-old woman.  She wanted her breasts to be reshaped – lifted and rounder – but she felt strongly that she did not want breast implants.

Tubular breasts have a droopy, pendulous breast shape, enlarged areolas and a flat upper pole.  Most women who seek tubular breast correction don’t care as much about the final size of their breasts – instead, they want a more youthful and perky breast contour.

For this patient, a breast lift rearranged her breast tissue, augmenting her breast using her own tissues – this is called the “auto-augmentation” mastopexy technique.  The lollipop scar allowed her areola diameter to be smaller and the nipple and areola to be lifted.  The scar in the fold of her breasts was also needed to produce internal lifting and reshaping.

Liposuction removed excess fat from her armpits and bra rolls.  Follow up photos are shown 1 year after surgery.
