Before and after ultrasonic liposuction (ultrasound assisted liposuction, or UAL) of the abdomen, flanks and back in a 59 year old man. After going through “MANopause” (the male equivalent of hormonal changes in mid-life), he had accumulated excess stubborn fat in these area.
Ultrasonic liposuction permanently removed this fat by targeting the stiff, firm and fibrous fat in his midsection, love handles and back fat. For male fat, UAL is usually required to adequately break up and remove this stubborn fat.
Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery. His scars are maturing and he appreciates not having his shirts hug tightly in his midsection any longer!
