Before and after liposuction of the mons pubis in a 63 year old woman. She was planning a Mommy Makeover including a breast lift and labiaplasty, and she was excited to learn that liposuction of her pubic region was safe to do at the same time!
Liposuction of the mons pubis can be done as the primary procedure under local anesthesia in the office. However, for this patient, it was performed under general anesthesia as part of her outpatient surgery.
Postoperatively, she wore a compression garment that is similar to a Spanx-type garment with an additional layer of EPI-foam compressive foam for 3 weeks. Follow up photos are shown 7 weeks after surgery.
