Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and flanks in a 63-year-old woman. At the same time as she was planning a breast reduction and liposuction of her arms, she wanted to improve the contour of her mid-section. She knew she had some loose skin, but did not want the scars and downtime of a full tummy tuck.
Liposuction removed over a liter and half of excess fat from her upper and lower abdomen, pubic region and anterior flanks. After surgery, she wore compression garments under her clothes for a full six weeks.
Follow up photos are shown 16 months after surgery. Her waistline is now more defined and she has a more slender abdominal contour. She is very satisfied with her results!
