Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and flanks in a 35-year-old woman. At the same time as a breast lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls, she wanted to improve the contour of her midsection.
Liposuction was performed while she was asleep under general anesthesia. Nearly three liters of excess fat was permanently removed through several tiny incisions hidden in skin creases whenever possible. After surgery, she worked from home for several weeks and resumed exercise at one month.
Long-term follow up photos are shown 2 years after surgery, with mature scars and an enduring result.
