Before and after liposuction of the body in a 44-year-old woman.
Liposuction removed nearly five liters of fat from her upper and lower abdomen, circumferential flanks (this is often called “lipo 360” since the body is turned so fat can be removed all the way around the body), inner and outer thighs, banana roll (the roll of fat under the buttock crease), and axillary rolls.
After surgery, she wore compression garments under her clothes for six weeks and resumed exercise when her bruises were completely gone – at four weeks postop. She was motivated to stay active and ended up losing weight after surgery, which complimented her outcome!
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. She has gone down several pant sizes and feels very comfortable in her skin.
