Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and flanks in a 33-year-old woman. At the same time as a breast reduction, this patient wanted to improve the contour of her belly.
She initially thought she needed a tummy tuck but was educated that since she did not have excess skin or muscle separation from past pregnancies, her skin would contract nicely to its new form following liposuction. Her wedding was next year, and she wanted to have the nicest figure possible for her big day.
Under general anesthesia, a total of four liters of fat was removed through tiny incisions. After surgery, she wore compression under her clothes for a full 8 weeks. Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. She loves her belly for the first time in her adult life!
