Before and after revision liposuction of the body in a 58-year-old woman. She had liposuction elsewhere a few years ago, but was dissatisfied with the contour of her abdomen, flanks, and thighs. She was hoping to have a nicer body silhouette.

Revision liposuction involves smoothing out irregularities with small cannulas, making use of existing scars if possible. For her surgery, three and a half liters of tumescent solution were injected, and five liters of fat and fluid were removed. General anesthesia is usually required for revision liposuction, and commitment to wearing postoperative compression garments for three months, if possible.

Follow up photos are shown 2 years after surgery. Her contour is greatly improved, and she feels comfortable wearing fitted dresses and showing off her curves!
