If you’ve met Nurse Rebecca, Preoperative Nurse Educator, Operating Room Circulating Nurse and PACU (Recovery Room) Nurse, you already know how much heart she brings to every corner of Dr. Karen Horton’s Office in San Francisco. What “Becca” loves most about working with San Francisco Plastic Surgery is the extraordinary team of women she describes as talented, knowledgeable, kind, and endlessly supportive. For her, showing up to work feels less like a job and more like joining a group of people who truly lift one another up.

As a self-described “Jane of all trades,” Rebecca imagines she’d pursue costume design and sewing if she weren’t in Nursing—creative outlets that match her artistic eye and hands-on nature. A fun fact that surprises many patients? She drives a motorcycle, adding a little edge to her warm and easygoing personality.

Her favorite procedures to assist with are tummy tucks and liposuction because the results are so dramatic. Seeing the removed fat and the immediate transformation is incredibly rewarding, and she loves supporting patients through such a meaningful change.

When it comes to skincare, Rebecca is still exploring products, but for non-surgical treatments, BOTOX® is her top choice—simple, effective, and confidence-boosting. One procedure she would never recommend, however, is a BBL; as she notes bluntly, the risks, including serious complications, simply aren’t worth it.

Rebecca’s advice for anyone considering Plastic Surgery is grounded and compassionate: give yourself the time you need to recover—and don’t compare your journey to someone else’s. Every body is unique, healing isn’t linear, and great results often take patience.
