A Note to Our Patients Regarding Coronavirus Safety

Schedule a virtual consultation with Dr. Horton!

Dear Patients,

Regarding the COVID-19 situation, we would like to inform you of the following:

  • We are open virtually by telephone, email and text to continue to provide care for existing patients during our normal business hours.
  • We are pleased to offer virtual consultations with Dr. Horton via ZOOM or telephone. Please call our office at (415) 570-7352 for more information or complete our online consultation request form.
  • We are limiting the number of patients in our office at any one time. We practice universal precautions and social distancing with all our patients during necessary office visits such as post-surgical follow-ups.
  • If you or a person you are in close contact with is unwell, please reschedule any upcoming appointments you may have. Even if it is last minute, we will not charge you a cancellation fee. This also applies if you or any person you are in close contact with has recently traveled to affected areas of the world.

Our highest priority is always patient safety. The above policies are in effort to limit any potential exposure and keep you and our staff healthy. As this situation evolves, we will continue to keep our patients updated with any changes to our office policy. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during these uncertain times, and encourage you to contact the office with any questions at (415) 570-7352.

Ways to Reduce Your Risk

We suggest taking the same preventative measures always recommended during cold and flu season:

  • Wash your hands frequently. Use an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Maintain social distancing. Keep a distance of about 6 feet between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth. Hands pick up viruses easily because of all the surfaces they touch. Once transferred through the eyes, nose or mouth, you can become sick.
  • Stay home if you don’t feel well. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance.
